Nair Receives Top Women of Law Award

BOSTON – December 2, 2021 – Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly announced its Top Women of Law for 2021, which includes Suma V. Nair, who is joining Fiduciary Trust Company as its Chief Fiduciary Officer in early 2022. Nair was previously with Goulston & Storrs PC, where she was a Director in the Private Client and Trust practice group.

The publication’s Top Women honorees were chosen by prominent members of the legal community and representatives of Lawyers Weekly. Honorees include those who have made significant contributions to the legal profession while also serving as role models for young women beginning their careers in law.

At Fiduciary, Nair will oversee the firm’s fiduciary services and lead the trust and estates legal department. She will also have oversight of fiduciary services for Fiduciary Trust Company’s Massachusetts trust company, and also its affiliate, Fiduciary Trust of New England, which is one of the largest independent New Hampshire-chartered personal trust companies.
