Focus Area
Anne Trinque is General Counsel of Fiduciary Trust Company. In this role, she oversees the Company’s legal, regulatory, risk management and corporate governance activities. She also handles strategic corporate projects for the firm. She is a Director of Fiduciary Trust of New England, our New Hampshire affiliate, and serves as the Company’s corporate secretary.
Experience
Anne joined Fiduciary Trust as General Counsel in 2015. Prior to joining Fiduciary, she was Legal Counsel at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC, an institutional asset management firm located in Boston. At GMO, she was responsible for a variety of legal areas, including global corporate governance, investment advisory regulation, emerging market investment, real estate, intellectual property and human resources. Anne began her legal career at Goodwin Procter in its Financial Services Group where she advised financial institutions and investment advisors on investment and bank regulatory, corporate governance and transactional matters.
Community Involvement
Anne serves on the Board of Greater Boston Legal Services and City Year’s Seven Generations Board. She is also a member of the Council for Women of Boston College and the Center for Women in Law at the University of Texas School of Law.
Personal
Anne lives in Brookline with her husband and two young children. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, traveling, reading and cheering from the sidelines of her kids’ sports teams.
